My Approach
Through both my studies and lived experiences growing up in opposite cultures, I have come to appreciate that everyone has a unique journey and story to tell. I believe each individual is an expert in their own life, and they already encompass the solutions and inner strength for their challenges.
In our sessions, I combine a safe, positive, and empathetic environment with various therapeutic approaches to support you and your concerns. Above all, I am client-centred in my approach. This means customizing therapy to the unique nature of your struggles and personal needs and working collaboratively with you towards your therapy goals. Ultimately, my goal is to help you connect to your own inner wisdom to cultivate the strength needed to courageously move beyond your challenges and create a better life for yourself, on your terms.
I would be honoured to accompany you in your healing and personal growth journey!
On A Personal Note
Before becoming a therapist, I had an extensive career in the federal government. I appreciate the courage it takes to initiate the first step away from the familiar and secure, plunging into the unknown in search of new possibilities.
I'm passionate about learning and consider myself a lifelong learner. Albert Einstein once said, “When you stop learning, you die.” This quote deeply resonates with me because learning fosters growth, and personal growth is one of my core values. I always aim to surpass yesterday's version of myself. For me, one of the most enriching ways to learn is through others. That's why I love engaging with people and listening to their unique experiences and journeys. Each interaction offers a chance to gain valuable insights and broaden my perspective.
In my free time, I love connecting with nature, and because of that, I've taken an interest in photography to try and capture its beauty. I also just recently started painting, and although I'm not very good at it, I’m learning! For my holistic well-being, I like to run, read, meditate, do yoga, and spend quality time with my loved ones.
