Our Core Values

Compassion

We believe that compassion brings people together in the face of challenges. Flowing  from empathy, compassion is a deliberate response that asks, “how can I help?” We practice curiosity instead of judgment, treat ourselves and others with kindness, and prioritize well-being.

Authenticity

We believe that people feel happier, more creative, and more engaged when they feel safe to show up fully as themselves. We keep it real by showing up in mutual, imperfect humanness. We believe authenticity is essential for building trust, collaboration, and belonging.

Integrity

We believe integrity stems from self-awareness. As a team and individually, we engage in reflective practices to strengthen awareness, understanding, and alignment of our values and actions. We prioritize open, honest, and clear communication.

Self-Determination

We believe in cultivating personal empowerment, choice, and voice. We believe people thrive when their autonomy is supported.

Ease

We believe in slow, spacious business practices that put people first and support regulated nervous systems. We make room for rest and joy. We keep it simple - life is complex, starting therapy shouldn’t be.

Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

We believe in justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. We believe in challenging oppressive systems that privilege some at the expense of others. We believe that Black and Indigenous Lives Matter. We believe that 2SLGBTQIA+ Lives Matter. We’re trauma-informed, neurodivergent- and poly-affirming.

We believe that when everyone has what they need, we all succeed. We all deserve healing, yet not everyone has the same access to healing opportunities. This is why we offer an equity-centred fee model and the pay-what-you-can program, to make therapy more accessible and allocate resources where they’re most needed.

We’re here for you.

We want you to get the support you need, and that starts with finding a therapist who’s the right fit. Book a free 30-minute virtual meet and greet with a therapist to learn more about their style, approach, and personality before booking a full session.
